Chase is such a fantastic animal! He is a certified Service Mobility animal by Assistance Dogs International standards, passing his Public Access Testing with flying colors. He has never had any training for other specialties. Yet, this beautiful animal has learned on his own to alert me when my Autonomic Dysreflexia (AD) flares up, and my blood pressure shoots to dangerous levels. AD is a result of my spinal cord injury. He becomes very persistent, pawing at my arms until I take my blood pressure – always discovering it to be high. He truly is my canine hero!!
